Assemblies operating below 1000 voltage are called low voltage switchgear assemblies. The criticality of the assemblies varies according to their application area.

 

For instance, in industrial applications, Switchgear assemblies used for low voltage power distribution are mostly called Power Control Centres. These power control centres control, monitor & continuously provide supply to connected loads through breakers. If anything goes wrong with the source or load, these PCCs comprising breakers cut down supply and the rest of the system stays healthy.
