SWITCHBOARDS (NAVAL SHIPS)

We are the approved manufacturer of switchboards and all other equipment in the power distribution chain for ships of the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. The entire range of L&T’s marine products - ACB, MCCB, Contactors, Relays, DOL starter, Soft starter etc. - have successfully undergone environmental testing at Naval laboratories as per JSS 55555 norms.

 

The products have also successfully undergone EMI/EMC testing as per MIL-STD 461E. L&T is one of the few companies in India approved for supply of marine electrical equipment such as switchboards and starters to ships as well as submarines of the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.

 

We ushered in the concept of ‘Turnkey Electrical & Automation Solutions’ for ships of the Indian Navy and Coast Guard.

 

We offer electrical solutions onboard Naval vessels for new builds as well as in retrofits. The solutions include Marinised Switchgear, Switchboards, Energy Distribution Centers, DC Switchboards, Changeover Switches, Distribution Boards, Helo-Starting Rectifiers and special application starters for steering gear, stabiliser, compressors, mooring capstan, winches, davits etc.
